If you have multipleprofiles on the same computer, logging into a differentprofile does not close out the NetDefense firewall on the initial profile. If you use multiple profiles on the same computer and switch between them, you need to shut down the firewall on the current profile before switching to the next profile. Otherwise, you will receive a message stating thatNetDefense is currently running. 


  1. Open SystemSuite.
  2. Click on the Firewall option.
  3. Click the Deactivate NetDefense firewall option.
  4. Log into the different profile.
  5. Open SystemSuite.
  6. Click on the Firewall option.
  7. Click the Enable NetDefense firewall option.

Note: This must be done each time you switch between profiles.
