We have found that problems may occur when more than one Anti-Virus/Anti-Spyware program is installed on your computer. We recommend that before installing SystemSuite or Fix-It, you remove any other Anti-Virus or Anti-Spyware program(s) installed on your computer. Conflicts between these programs may cause problems such as the following:
- Loss of internet connection
- Black screen or a missing desktop
- Longer boot times
- Slow response time opening or running programs
- Certainprograms no longer responding
If you would like to keep your current Anti-Virus or Anti-Spyware protection and still install SystemSuite or Fix-It, please uncheck the "Active Defense" and "E-mail Protection" at the end of the installation. Doing this will minimize chances of the programs conflicting with other Anti-Virus or Anti-Spyware programs.
Note: Removing those two options will disable the active protection provided by SystemSuite or Fix-It. Please only do this if you have another program(s) providing protection for Anti-Virus and Anti-Spyware.
