There are two aspects to this question: maintaining your system, and preparing for disaster. To maintain your system, run FixWizard regularly. Make sure the Virus Scanner, disk fixer, backup utilities, and registry fixer utilities are checked. Also, run Defrag Plus regularly to keep disk access times to a minimum. Second, be sure to back up your own files regularly, not just on another part of the hard drive, but on a removable medium that you can store elsewhere. Performing these two aspects will ensure that your system runs as well as possible as long as possible, and also keeps your data safe in case of disaster.
