What has happened is that the PowerDesk 5 Free installer does not currently check for an already installed version of the Pro version. Therefore the Pro version gets over-written with the PowerDesk 5 Free components.
To correct this:
1. Uninstall PowerDesk 5 Free from the Add/Remove Programs tool in the Windows Control Panel.
2. Reboot and delete the C:\Program Files\VCom\PowerDesk folder.
3. Reinstall PowerDesk Pro 5 using the original file or CD-ROM.
I had PowerDesk Pro 5 installed on my system and after I upgraded SystemSuite 5, my Powerdesk has been converted to PowerDesk 5 Free version. How do I get the Pro version back? (KB003096)
