Internet Explorer version 7 now has its own setting for using cleartype fonts and disregards the system settings. This may cause a problem with WebEasy. In the IE7 internet options dialog there is an option "Always use clear type for HTML". Please locate this setting and try turning it OFF. Close IE and WebEasy then open WebEasy and see if the rich text is rendering correctly. If this doesn't fix the problem there is a workaround you can use. The problem will only occur when rendering transparent rich text. If you turn the transparency off (using the WebEasy inspector) and place a solid color as the background for each rich text item then it should render nicely in WebEasy
No matter what font color I choose it either appears as purple or with an odd purple shadow. Is there any way to prevent this? (KB005155)
