Partition Commander 6 installs into Windows 95/98/ME or DOS. However you do not need to install Partition Commander to run it. Simply boot from the bootable CD ROM (v6.04/5)or enclosed Restart disk #2 to have full access to the Partition Commander program. All of the partitioning tools are available by booting either of these media.
System Commander Personal Edition is a free add-on to the Partition Commander product. System Commander PE is a boot-time menu, which allows the user to multi-boot multiple operating systems. Partition Commander needs to be installed to enable System Commander PE. If this menu is needed, you may wish to run Partition Commander from the bootable media to assist you in installing one of the supported operating systems. When installed, you can then install Partition Commander and System Commander PE into the supported operating system to give the boot-time menu.
