This is a known issue when installing the 8.0.4.2 patch for either SystemSuite or Fix-It on a computer running Windows 2000. There is no cause for concern. The patch will complete its installation and restart the MXTASK.exe program. There is no need to take any additional steps to get the MXTASK.exe running again.

If you are still concerned that the patch did not successfully install, you can verify its completion by checking the version number. Simply open the program and then go to Help - About. It will now show the new version number: 8.0.4.2
