Yes, DiskFixer does have support for NTFS, FAT32, and FAT16 partitions. However, in NT/2000/XP based environments, programs running under Windows work with the operating system (using what is called the HAL or Hardware Abstraction Layer) to perform any disk related functions. In Windows 95/98/ME, DiskFixer will perform the functions directly. DiskFixer in NT/2000/XP relies on the operating system APIs to perform the low-level functions.
