Try checking with your website host provider. Have them walk you through uploading a file to your website with any FTP software they recommend. Since this is their servers, they should have the best information as to why you are not connecting with them.
I'm having trouble uploading my site via FTP. I get time-out errors, or host name not resolved, or incorrect password errors. What can I try next? (KB005104)
